Leandro Trossard aims to carry his strong Arsenal form into Belgium’s upcoming Nations League matches against Italy and France. With Kevin De Bruyne sidelined due to injury, Trossard is expected to take on a pivotal central midfield role for the Group A2 games, starting in Rome on Thursday and continuing at home against France on Monday.

Trossard, who has thrived as a second attacker at Arsenal following Martin Odegaard’s injury, expressed confidence in his recent performances. While he prefers playing on the left, a spot likely to be filled by Jeremy Doku, Trossard is ready to adapt to a central role under coach Domenico Tedesco.

Having returned to the national squad after missing last month’s Nations League fixtures, Trossard said he feels “good” and is ready to contribute to Belgium’s campaign. He had agreed to sit out the previous matches to allow Tedesco to test new players, but is now prepared to step up in De Bruyne’s absence.
