Tottenham secured the final Carabao Cup semi-final spot with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Manchester United on Thursday night. The North London side will now face Liverpool in a two-legged semi-final, while Arsenal take on Newcastle in the other tie.

The semi-final matches will be played in early January and February, with the winners heading to Wembley Stadium for the final on March 16th. Tottenham appeared to be cruising with a 3-0 lead by the 54th minute, courtesy of a Dejan Kulusevski opener and two goals from Dominic Solanke. However, late errors from goalkeeper Fraser Forster gave Manchester United hope, with substitutes Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo pulling the score back to 3-2.

United dominated the final stages, but Son Heung-min’s late goal from a corner restored Tottenham’s cushion. Jonny Evans struck for United in stoppage time, but Spurs held firm to claim the win.
