Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Slavia Prague for the transfer of Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, pending a successful medical in London. Spurs are set to pay approximately £12.5 million, including add-ons, for the 21-year-old rising star.

Kinsky could immediately step into the starting role for Tottenham after Italian keeper Guglielmo Vicario suffered a season-ending ankle injury. Fraser Forster, Tottenham’s backup, has also struggled with fitness and form, leaving the club in dire need of a reliable goalkeeper.

Kinsky’s Stellar Form

Kinsky has been a standout for Slavia Prague this season, stepping up following an injury to Jindrich Stanek. He has conceded just seven goals in 19 league matches and impressed in the Europa League, earning a call-up to the Czech national team.

Should the deal go through, Kinsky’s consistent performances and composure under pressure make him a strong candidate to stabilize Tottenham’s defense during their injury crisis.

Interest in Diouf from Crystal Palace

Meanwhile, Slavia’s left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf is also attracting interest from the Premier League. Crystal Palace reportedly made an unsuccessful bid for the Senegalese defender but remain keen to secure his services this winter.

The potential departures of Kinsky and Diouf underline Slavia Prague’s ability to nurture talent sought after on the European stage. For Tottenham, signing Kinsky represents a vital move as they aim to address their goalkeeping concerns and remain competitive.
