Suns Outshine Warriors Behind Booker and Durant

Devin Booker scored 27 points, and Kevin Durant added 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors 113-105 on Saturday, handing the Warriors their fourth consecutive loss.

Despite missing key starters Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic, the Suns (11-8) showcased a balanced effort. Tyus Jones chipped in 19 points, and Grayson Allen added 17 to help seal the victory.

Durant praised the team’s cohesion:

“It wasn’t a great shooting game for me and Book, but everybody contributed on both ends of the floor.”

The Suns dominated early, building a 66-49 halftime lead that proved decisive. Durant credited head coach Mike Budenholzer’s push for urgency: “Coach got on us… about our level of competition. Tonight, we focused on the small things – boxing out, defense, making the correct pass. It was a good start to the game.”

Stephen Curry, returning from a sore knee, led the Warriors (12-7) with 23 points, while Andrew Wiggins added 18 in the loss.

Giannis Posts First 40-Point Triple-Double in Bucks’ Victory

Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a masterful 42-point triple-double, adding 12 rebounds and 11 assists, to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the Washington Wizards 124-114.

The Greek Freak was dominant, shooting 15-of-24 from the field and 12-of-17 from the free-throw line. It was his third triple-double this season and the first of his career with at least 40 points.

Damian Lillard contributed 25 points and 10 assists as Milwaukee (10-9) secured its sixth straight win and eighth in the past nine games.

The Wizards, now a league-worst 2-16, were paced by Jordan Poole’s 31 points but extended their losing streak to 14 games.

Mavericks Cruise Past Jazz Behind Kyrie’s 30

Kyrie Irving dropped 30 points as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Utah Jazz 106-94 in Salt Lake City.

Irving received help from Quentin Grimes, who contributed 24 points for Dallas (12-8).

The struggling Jazz (4-15) were led by Lauri Markkanen’s 19 points but failed to keep pace, falling further into the Western Conference basement.

76ers Roll Past Pistons Without Embiid

Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 111-96 road win over the Detroit Pistons.

With Joel Embiid resting a sore knee, Paul George returned from injury, contributing 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Sixers (4-4).

Hawks Edge Hornets in Thriller

Jalen Johnson led the Atlanta Hawks with 20 points, while De’Andre Hunter added 18 points, including clutch free throws in the final seconds, to secure a 107-104 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Charlotte’s Brandon Miller shone with a game-high 32 points, but the Hornets (3-16) suffered their fifth straight loss.

Hunter’s free throws with 9.1 seconds left gave Atlanta a three-point lead, and Onyeka Okongwu, who added 16 points and 11 rebounds, iced the game with two more from the line.
