Berrettini broke Baena’s nine-match winning streak, winning in one hour and 46 minutes with a score of 7-5, 6-2. This victory marked his first title since June 2022 when he won at Queen’s Club, following his return from a six-month ankle injury hiatus.
Throughout the tournament, Berrettini only dropped two sets, highlighting his dominant performance. In another match, Hubert Hurkacz clinched his first ATP title of the season by defeating Pedro Martinez 6-4, 6-4 at the Estoril Open in Portugal. This win, Hurkacz’s eighth ATP title overall, was also his first on clay.
