Leicester Women’s Manager Willie Kirk will miss Saturday’s game due to an internal investigation into an alleged relationship with a player.
Despite his absence, Leicester secured a 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win against Liverpool. Kirk, suspended amid the probe, joined the club in 2022 and has faced allegations of involvement with a player.
Assistant manager Jennifer Foster and first-team coach Stephen Kirby will lead the team during the investigation. Kirk, with a coaching history at various clubs, achieved 10th place in the Women’s Super League in his first season with Leicester and currently holds seventh place in the 2023-24 league table.
