I’m thrilled, primarily because winning the game was crucial. Secondly, in the past six or seven games, we haven’t had many victories for various reasons. So, it’s a significant boost to get this win, and the players displayed great mental strength, especially after falling behind 1-0, which isn’t easy. Their response was fantastic.
Every game from now on will be crucial, but losing to Bristol City didn’t add any extra pressure. Our focus remains on taking it one game at a time.
What’s especially pleasing is how the players maintained their composure and stuck to our game plan despite any distractions or noise. Their belief in what we’re doing was evident, and the reward was the three points.
