Lamar Jackson threw five touchdowns and Derrick Henry racked up 169 rushing yards as the Baltimore Ravens secured a 41-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. Jackson was electric, completing 17 of 22 passes for 281 yards while adding 52 rushing yards, helping Baltimore extend their winning streak to five games and improve to 5-2 atop the AFC North.
Jackson’s standout performance was complemented by Derrick Henry, whose 81-yard run in the third quarter set up a crucial Ravens touchdown. In total, the Ravens amassed over 500 offensive yards in a dominating display. “We showed we can play with everybody, against anybody,” Jackson said, acknowledging the long road ahead in the season.
The Buccaneers’ night worsened with injuries to key players Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (dislocated ankle), who was carted off late in the game. Tampa Bay initially led 10-0 after a 25-yard touchdown by Baker Mayfield to Evans and a field goal, but Baltimore roared back with a series of touchdowns, including two in the third quarter that made it 34-10.
Despite two late touchdowns by Tampa Bay, the Ravens’ lead was never truly threatened. In the other Monday night game, the Arizona Cardinals edged past the Los Angeles Chargers 17-15 with a last-second 32-yard field goal by Chad Ryland.
