Juventus secured their 15th Coppa Italia title on Wednesday by defeating Atalanta 1-0 in the final. Dusan Vlahovic scored the decisive goal in the opening minutes, ensuring Juve didn’t finish another season without a trophy. The victory marked Juventus’s first Coppa Italia win since 2021, while Atalanta, who last won the title in the 1962-63 season, fell short once again.

The match started brilliantly for Juventus, with Andrea Cambiaso setting up Vlahovic just four minutes in. Vlahovic held off a challenge and found the net to give Juve an early lead. In the 54th minute, Vlahovic had a penalty appeal waved off, and later, another goal from him was disallowed for offside. Atalanta had a chance to equalize when Ademola Lookman hit the woodwork in the 80th minute, while Juve’s Fabio Miretti also saw his shot hit the bar.

Despite having less possession, Juventus maintained their composure to keep the scoreline in their favor. The game saw some drama with Juve’s head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, receiving a red card in the final moments. After the match, Massimiliano Allegri said. “It was an important night, playing a final is always a wonderful event. We went through three hard months that will be of great growth. Juventus is an important club and we got what we needed to get: the Champions League spot and playing a Coppa Italia final that the boys then did well to win,”
