New AS Roma coach Ivan Juric expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance following a 3-0 victory over Udinese, securing their first Serie A win of the season. Juric took over after Daniele De Rossi was sacked last week, leaving some players deeply disappointed by the departure of the former Roma icon.

Juric acknowledged the players’ emotions, stating, “They were very honest with me in telling me that they were upset about him being fired.” However, he praised their professionalism and response, especially during the dominant first half of the match.

Roma, now on six points after five matches, face Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League on Thursday, with further squad rotation expected as Juric navigates the busy schedule ahead.
