Harry Kane will become just the 10th player in history to make 100 appearances for England when the Three Lions face Finland in the Nations League at Wembley. The 31-year-old striker, who made his debut in 2015, is already England’s all-time top scorer with 66 goals in 99 matches.

Kane will join an elite group of players, including Wayne Rooney, David Beckham, and Steven Gerrard, who have surpassed the century mark in caps for England. Reflecting on his achievement, Kane expressed pride and hinted at his next goal: reaching 100 international goals. “I feel like I am in a good place and these are good targets to try to reach,” Kane said.

Kane’s England journey began with a debut goal just 79 seconds after coming off the bench against Lithuania in 2015. Since then, he has scored 46 more goals than any other England player, with 15 goals in major tournaments, and a total of five hat-tricks.

Kane’s performances have been an inspiration, drawing comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently reached 900 career goals at 39. Kane, eight years younger, remains motivated to continue playing at the highest level. “I love this game, I love representing England… I’m hungry for more,” he said. As Kane faces Finland, he aims to continue his remarkable journey and possibly become the third player to score on his 100th England appearance.
