England suffered a 4-3 loss to Germany at Wembley in a thrilling rematch of the Euro 2022 final, marking a successful debut for Germany’s new coach, Christian Wück. In front of 47,967 fans, the German team struck early when England’s captain Leah Williamson conceded a penalty in just the second minute, which Giulia Gwinn calmly converted.
