Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are set to clash once again in the Wimbledon men’s championship on Sunday at the All England Club. This highly anticipated final is a rematch from last year, where Alcaraz triumphed over Djokovic in a thrilling five-set battle.

The final will be graced by the presence of Kate, the Princess of Wales, in the Royal Box at Centre Court. This marks a rare public appearance for her following her recent cancer diagnosis.

Djokovic, at 37, aims to win his eighth Wimbledon title, which would tie him with Roger Federer for the most championships won by a man at the prestigious grass-court major. A victory for Djokovic would also bring his total Grand Slam singles titles to 25, surpassing all other players in tennis history. This comes just over a month after Djokovic underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee, an injury sustained during the French Open.

On the other hand, the 21-year-old Alcaraz enters the final riding high on his recent success. In June, he captured his third major championship by winning the French Open, making him the youngest man to secure Grand Slam titles on grass, clay, and hard courts.

In the women’s tournament, Barbora Krejcikova emerged victorious, defeating Jasmine Paolini in Saturday’s final to claim the Wimbledon women’s title.
