Coco Gauff secured her spot in the Miami Open’s last 16 with a commanding straight-set victory over Oceane Dodin. Despite initially falling behind a break of serve and trailing 4-2 in the opening set, the 20-year-old Gauff swiftly turned the tide with an impressive display of skill and determination. She went on to win the next 10 games in a row, sealing the match in just over an hour.

Gauff’s next opponent in the tournament will be France’s Caroline Garcia, who caused an upset by defeating Japan’s Naomi Osaka in their third-round clash. Garcia emerged victorious with a hard-fought 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 win against the four-time major winner Osaka.
