The Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season, falling 30-21 to the Buffalo Bills, ending their hopes of an undefeated campaign. Josh Allen delivered a heroic performance, sealing the game with a 26-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-2 in the fourth quarter. Allen also threw a 12-yard touchdown to Curtis Samuel earlier in the final period. The Bills’ defense stepped up when it mattered, intercepting Patrick Mahomes on a critical fourth-down attempt, handing the Chiefs their first defeat after nine straight wins.

Pittsburgh extended their dominance over Baltimore with an 18-16 victory. Despite not scoring a touchdown, the Steelers relied on Chris Boswell’s six field goals, including a 50-yarder late in the fourth quarter. Baltimore’s late rally fell short as Lamar Jackson’s two-point conversion attempt after a touchdown to Zay Flowers failed, securing Pittsburgh’s 8-2 record.

Jared Goff shone for the Detroit Lions, passing for 412 yards and four touchdowns in a resounding 52-6 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions with 161 receiving yards and two scores, while David Montgomery added 75 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Lions’ relentless offense overwhelmed the Jaguars’ defense, handing Detroit their most dominant win of the season.

The Green Bay Packers edged the Chicago Bears 20-19 in dramatic fashion. Jordan Love’s go-ahead touchdown run put the Packers in front, but Chicago’s Cairo Santos had a chance to win the game with a 46-yard field goal. Karl Brooks blocked the attempt, securing the victory for Green Bay and improving their record to 7-3.

Other standout moments included Geno Smith’s game-winning 13-yard scramble to lift Seattle over San Francisco 20-17, the Colts’ narrow 28-27 win over the Jets, and the Chargers surviving a Bengals comeback to win 34-27, capped by J.K. Dobbins’ decisive 29-yard touchdown run.
