Rising star Agnes Beever-Jones opened the scoring with her first goal in the competition, followed by Maika Hamano’s long-range effort to catch Twente goalkeeper Olivia Clark off her line. Guro Reiten added a second-half penalty before Nikee van Dijk netted a late consolation for Twente.

Chelsea, thriving in their first season since Emma Hayes left to coach the U.S. national team, have also won all three of their Women’s Super League matches this season.

Real Madrid Bounce Back with 4-0 Win Over Celtic

Real Madrid recovered from their loss to Chelsea by thrashing Celtic 4-0. Caroline Weir’s stunning strike gave Madrid an early lead, and late goals from Signe Bruun, Caroline Moller, and Linda Caicedo’s penalty sealed the win. Madrid sit second in Group B, ahead of Twente on goal difference.

Lyon Beat Wolfsburg 2-0 to Continue Perfect Start

In Group A, eight-time champions Lyon earned a 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg. Wendie Renard opened the scoring, with Lindsey Horan adding a penalty. Lyon are tied with Roma on points but trail on goal difference after Roma’s 6-1 thrashing of Galatasaray.
