Brighton & Hove Albion continued their unbeaten start to the Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The match saw early attacking intent from the Gunners, particularly down the right flank, with Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard linking up frequently. Despite dominating the early exchanges, Arsenal found it tough to break down Brighton’s defense led by 19-year-old left-back Jack Hinshelwood.

Arsenal took the lead just before halftime when Saka’s aerial duel set up Kai Havertz, who lobbed Brighton keeper Bart Verbruggen to score. The match took a turn early in the second half when Arsenal’s Declan Rice was sent off for a second yellow card, reducing the home side to 10 men.

Brighton capitalized on their numerical advantage when Lewis Dunk’s pass found Yankuba Minteh, whose shot was saved by David Raya before João Pedro pounced on the rebound to equalize. Despite dominating possession, Brighton couldn’t find a winner, while Arsenal held firm with impressive stops from Raya.

Both teams missed late chances, and the game ended in a draw, leaving Arsenal and Brighton with identical records of two wins and one draw ahead of the international break.
