Bayer Leverkusen bounced back from their 3-2 defeat to RB Leipzig with a commanding 4-1 win over Hoffenheim at the PreZero Arena. Victor Boniface was the star of the match, contributing two goals and an assist to secure the victory.

Leverkusen struck early, with Boniface setting up Martin Terrier for his first Bundesliga goal in the 17th minute. Boniface doubled the lead later, slicing through the Hoffenheim defense after a clever pass from Granit Xhaka and slotting the ball past Oliver Baumann.

Hoffenheim briefly threatened a comeback when Berisha scored after a defensive error from Piero Hincapié. Although Hoffenheim thought they had equalized moments later, Berisha’s second goal was ruled offside. Leverkusen remained composed, and a penalty converted by Florian Wirtz following a foul on Grimaldo restored their two-goal advantage.

Boniface sealed the win with another stunning solo effort, capping off Leverkusen’s dominant display. The result moves Leverkusen back into the top four, while Hoffenheim continue their struggles at home, having gone 22 Bundesliga matches without a clean sheet.
