Tottenham Hotspur is collaborating with local police and stadium security to identify fans involved in homophobic chants during their 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford. The club strongly condemned the actions, labeling the behavior “abhorrent” and stating that it was “hugely offensive and unacceptable.”

Spurs assured that they are working closely with authorities to take decisive action against those responsible. The club emphasized that the strongest measures would be implemented, following their Sanctions and Banning Policy.

Tottenham also encouraged supporters to report any such incidents confidentially and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting an inclusive environment. The club will continue its partnership with their LGBTQ+ supporters’ association, Proud Lilywhites, to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all fans.
