AS Roma have parted ways with manager Daniele De Rossi after a disappointing run of results early in the season. De Rossi, who took over as interim coach last year following José Mourinho’s departure, struggled to deliver results, leading the club to act swiftly.
In a statement, Roma announced, “The decision is taken in the interest of the team to promptly resume the desired path,” emphasizing their need for a change after a sluggish start. Roma have managed only three draws and one loss in their first four matches.
Despite the early termination of his contract, which was extended just in June, the club thanked De Rossi for his dedication and passion. Though his time as head coach was short-lived, the former player will always be cherished by Roma, where he is considered a club legend.
