Ryan Sessegnon signs for Fulham Football Club

Ryan Sessegnon has rejoined Fulham on a two-year contract after his time with Tottenham Hotspur. The 24-year-old winger, an academy graduate of Fulham, returns to Craven Cottage until 2026, with an option for an additional year. Sessegnon initially left Fulham for Spurs in a £25 million deal in August 2019.

Sessegnon’s tenure at Tottenham was plagued by hamstring injuries, limiting him to just 57 appearances. “It’s amazing to be back. Emotional, as well,” said Sessegnon, reflecting on his return. “It’s where it started for me, where everything began. It will always be home for me.”

During his first stint with Fulham, Sessegnon scored 25 goals and provided 18 assists in 120 senior appearances. While at Tottenham, he spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Hoffenheim in Germany. His return marks Fulham manager Marco Silva’s first signing of the summer.
